Later in the week Nicola Lamb from Widnes library came into class to deliver a talk about about how Widnes has changed. She talked specifically about the growth in industry, population growth, and the growing need for Widnes' bridges.

Nicola brought along some interesting artefacts into school to share with us; including soap from the original Gossage factory. Nicola really helped us to understand how and why Widnes has changed and become the town we know today.
